En ce moment, je vois plein de pêcheurs dans Paris et du coup, je vais les rencontrer pour savoir mais qu'est-ce qu'ils peuvent bien pêcher dans la Seine.

Pendant plusieurs jours, j'ai suivi des pêcheurs de street fishing.

Today he's going to be my guide and introduce me to the top anglers in the competition.
On pêche pas pour rien pour savoir un peu ce qu'il y a dans nos eaux et ce qui s cache. En fait, c'est c'est un peu de la découverte.

We just enjoy the moment, and then the fish.
Ah bien dit chef, c'est quoi par exemple les techniques ?
Well said, chief. So what are the techniques, for example?
C'est déjà un sport mental, c'est pas trop physique mais dans la tête, on travaille, on cherche tout le temps, qu'est-ce qui serait le mieux et cetera.
It's already a mental sport — it's not that physical, but mentally you're working, always searching, thinking about what would work best, and so on.
Et c'est pas que on pêche le poisson. Et c'est la chance, il faut trouver le bon plomb, le bon courant, le bon leur.
And it's not just about catching the fish. There's luck involved — you have to find the right weight, the right current, the right lure.
Après, il y a la luminosité qui joue. Du coup, il y a plein de coloris différents et en fait ça fait un puzzle qui fait que Ouais, c'est vraiment un jeu quoi.
Then there's the light, which plays a role too. So there are loads of different colors to consider, and it all comes together like a puzzle, which means — yeah, it's really a game.

I think just letting people know there are fish in the Seine changes everything, because you're not gonna throw trash in the same way knowing there are living creatures in there as you would if you thought it was just a puddle.
