Travel French braids three things you've met separately: the prepositions
of transport and countries (en train, à pied, en France, au Japon),
the futur for plans, and the passé composé (with être + agreement)
for telling how the trip went.

Can-Do Goal

I can buy a transport ticket, ask about times and changes, say how I travel, book
a hotel, talk about the weather, and tell a simple story about a past trip.

Production Drill

Scene: Plan a short trip — buy a return train ticket, book a hotel, check
the weather, then tell a friend how it went.

Produce, out loud:

• one ticket phrase + aller-retour;
• one transport preposition with en and one with à;
• a hotel booking with j'ai réservé … au nom de …;
• one futur weather sentence (il fera…, il pleuvra…);
• one passé composé with être + feminine agreement (je suis allée / rentrée…);
• one with avoir (nous avons visité…, il a fait beau).
